FACILITIES

9 Floodlit all weather courts, 3 of which are newly constructed to latest LTA specifications with a focus on providing best possible junior development. Clubhouse with kitchen, changing rooms with shower facilities for ladies and men, and also sheltered viewing

COACHING

4 LTA qualified coaches

Adult group coaching for beginners and intermediates is open to members and non members and is held on Sunday (6PM) and Monday (6PM) evenings. Personal coaching sessions can be arranged with any of our coaches.

Junior group coaching for beginners and intermediates is held on Saturday mornings (9.30-10.30 U/12, 10.30-11.30 U/18). The club also runs performance junior squads for junior members only. Personal coaching sessions can be arranged with any of our coaches.

Mini Tennis - Courses are arranged in conjunction with Whickham school

NON MEMBER-PAY and PLAY

Non Members - Pay and Play . Courts can be hired for 2.50 per person per hour during those periods when a coach or committee member is in attendance to take fees, and the club house is open.

CLUB SOCIAL PLAY

Members - Mixed Social is available on Monday and Thursday evenings(6PM-9.30PM) and Saturday afternoons (2.00PM-6PM), Ladies only (Tuesday evenings 6.00PM-9.30PM), Men only (Wednesday evenings 6.00PM-9.30PM)

Juniors - Friday night is special juniors social night with tennis and clubhouse activities

COMPETITION

The club has mens teams in national club competitions and club leagues. In regional or county leagues the club has 6 mens teams and 4 ladies teams, and also junior teams at all age groups

Club tournaments/singles leagues  are held throughout the year, open to members only.

STRINGING
